Application Process

1.  SELECT the Program

Virginia Institute of Science & Technology offers a Master of Science in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance (MSCIA) and two graduate certificate programs. You should ensure the program you chose is what you are interested in and what to pursue as your future career.

2.  CHECK PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Before you start the application process, you must check the program requirements to ensure that you are qualified for admission. Please click here to read the admission requirements.

3. APPLY

4. SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

All admissions documents must be received before a decision can be made. All required documents can be viewed under Domestic Admissions or International Admissions. Unless otherwise noted, electronic submission of documents is preferred.

5. HEARING FROM THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE

Once your application form and required documents have been submitted, your application will be processed, and an admission decision will be made. If there are any missing documents, you may be contacted via email or phone to provide them before an admission decision is made.
