We helps to foster and stewards mutually-advancing relationships between the Institute (VIST) and companies and private professional foundations. Part of the Office of Development, we help faculty and external funding partners connect and collaborate to advance mutual goals that align with the institute’s mission and support students succeed at the Institute and promote faculty teaching and research works.

We can help companies and foundations navigate the institute, find faculty and programs of interest, and arrange for campus meetings. We can also facilitate funding requests, awards, and reporting, and help illuminate campus research funding policies.

Partnership is essential to VIST’s creative and efficient approach to interdisciplinary collaboration to advance the institutes mission of rigorous scholarship, pioneering research, and public engagement. VIST’s current technology and programs of Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Big Data, Cloud Engineering, Advanced Business Technology and Marketing Analysis, etc.  would provide the company’s much-needed technology and senior elite talent.
